Reflection - Internal Reflection overpowers criticism
Self-reflection is my weapon against negative criticism. When I take a deep look at myself, I am able to identify areas for growth.
What negative people say about me means nothing to me, because I know myself better than anyone else. Self-reflection makes me aware of my strengths and my weaknesses.
I have a plan for turning my weaknesses into strengths. Through internal reflection I get a clear picture of where I am today as an individual. My observations help me to form goals for myself.
Honesty is the key to successful reflection. I am honest with myself about the areas in which I need to grow. My self-evaluation is accurate and fair. I see things with objectivity, but I refrain from turning self-reflection into self-criticism.
I constantly measure my progress toward my goals through self-examination. When I find that I am falling short, I work harder and proceed with confidence in my eventual success.
I am not perfect, but I strive to be the best that I can be. I reflect daily to measure my progress so I can keep myself focused on the right path.
Criticism is a destructive tool; internal reflection is an empowering one. I refrain from criticizing others; instead, I ask them questions to start the process of self-reflection.
Today, I choose to take time out to reflect on where I am in life and where I would like to be. I craft a plan of action that will lead me to my destiny.
